Communism and slavery are exact opposites. |
In communism, the is no disparity in the distribution of societies benefits. In slavery, the is total disparity in the distribution of societies benefits. In communism, everybody gets the same amount. In slavery, the master gets all and the slave gets none. (This refers to real communism, not what was called communism during the cold war.) The irony is that both systems suffer from the same fatal flaw. They both eliminate the motivation for self-improvement and self betterment. As is typically the case, the best practical systems lie somewhere in between. |
