In the 1960 election, candidate John Kennedy had to assure the electorate that he would not let his religion dictate the decisions he made as president. Now Republican candidates get elected assuring their voters that they will impose their religious beliefs on the country.

Frightening, isn't it? I just have to wonder when the rest of the population is going to start paying attention to the way the religious far right wants to rule everyone's lives. Linda
