As creationists have failed to infuse the teaching of creationism in the school science curriculum, their position has evolved, most recently into the farce of "intelligent design."
Schools are not obligated to "present both sides of a debate" where one side is unsubstantiated by scientific evidence.

Do we allow equal time to the Flat Earth Society to present its views in science classrooms? Should teachers be required to explain to students that some people do not concede that the Earth is round and that, even though scientific evidence seems to support the theory that the Earth is round, that it is still "just a theory."

Intelligent and free scientific thinking will be outlawed if we're not careful to keep the far religious right out of politics. When will the rest of the citizens wake up? Linda
