| A wise man borrows to invest. A fool borrows for consumption. (And an asshole borrows to start an unnecessary war in order to create a trough of federal money for his war-profiteering cronies.)
Many Republicans are condemning the stimulus package because of the deficit spending. But they were outwardly enthusiastic about borrowing millions of dollars, wrapping it in bricks of $100 bills, loading pallets of them onto cargo planes and dumping them into the rat hole that is the Iraq occupation. They have zero credibility. They should shut up and sit down. |
