It is way past time to dismantle the electoral college.
Two presidential elections since 2000 have resulted in one party getting the most votes but the candidate of the other party taking power.

That’s banana republic stuff.

The electoral college is a remnant of a long gone era that required long journeys in horse drawn carriages to vote. (Not to mention African-American slaves who were counted as three-fifths of a person.)

It is way past time to dismantle the electoral college.
